The semi-final matches of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Championship among girls and boys under 16 (U-16) were held today in the sports hall of the Azerbaijan Volleyball Federation (AVF).
In the first semi-final match of the girls' competition, the "AZERRAIL" team faced the "National Aviation Academy". "AZERRAIL" won the match with a score of 3:0 and qualified for the final. In the other semi-final match, the "Sharqi Zangazur RVK" team won against "Khari Bulbul-3" with a score of 3:0 and advanced to the final.
Thus, in the match for third place to be held tomorrow, "National Aviation Academy" and "Khari Bulbul-3", and in the final match, "AZERRAIL" and "Sharqi Zangazur RVK" teams will face each other.
In the second half of the day, the semi-final matches among boys took place. In the first semi-final match, the "Baku RVK" team won against "Oghuz RVK" with a score of 3:0 and advanced to the final. In the other semi-final match, "Sumgayit RVK" defeated the "Embawood" team with a score of 3:1 and qualified for the final.
Thus, in the boys' competition, "Oghuz RVK" and "Embawood" will face each other in the match for third place, and "Baku RVK" and "Sumgayit RVK" teams will face each other in the final match.
The matches for third place and the final matches to be held tomorrow will be organized at the Volleyball Center of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. After the games, the award ceremony for the winners will be held.
