Members of the Azerbaijani U-15 girls' volleyball team considered winning a bronze medal at the III CIS Games a successful result.
According to the Western Bureau of "Report", they said this after defeating Uzbekistan in the match for third place.
Aydan Mirzayeva said that this victory would be an impetus for further success:
"We didn't start the first set well. But then we managed to recover. We have been preparing for several months and today we won a bronze medal. I thank our coaches, everyone who supported us."
Another member of the team, Aylin Alizade, emphasized that their goal was to play in the final:
"In the previous game, unfortunately, we lost and could not reach the final. In this match, we did our best to win a medal and, thank God, we won. We thank the fans who supported us."
It should be reminded that the Azerbaijani U-15 national team defeated Uzbekistan 3:1 in the match for third place.
