Azerbaijan's under-18 (U-18) volleyball teams will participate in the Eastern European Volleyball Zonal Association (EEVZA) Championship. Sport24.az reports with reference to the Volleyball Federation that the women's national team will compete in the tournament to be held in Telavi, Georgia, on November 20-23.
The competition will also be attended by teams from Georgia, Armenia, Ukraine, Estonia and Poland. The team in Group A will face the national teams of Georgia and Poland.
The men's team will compete together with the national teams of Georgia, Latvia, Ukraine, Estonia and Poland in the championship to be held in Daugavpils, Latvia. The team in Group B will face the national teams of Estonia and Ukraine. This competition will also be held on November 20-23.
According to the regulations, based on the results of the group stage, on November 23, the first team of Group A will face the first team of Group B (A1-B1), the second team of Group A will face the second team of Group B (A2-B2), and the third team of Group A will face the third team of Group B (A3-B3).
According to the rules of the competition, which is a qualifying round for "AVRO-2026", the winner of the group leaders' match (A1-B1) will qualify for the final stage of the European Championship.
