Young Azerbaijani table tennis players have set off to test their strength in the next international competitions. The "WTT Youth Contender" tournaments will be held in Berlin, Germany, and Havirov, Czech Republic, from March 9 to 15.
Idman.Biz reports that six of our athletes will participate in these competitions under the leadership of the head coaches of the national teams, Elnur Hidayetzade and Ramin Jafarov.
Onur Guluzade, Alakbar Mirzaliyev and Jafar Almadadli will represent our country in the boys' competition.
In the girls' competition, Yagmur Mammadli, Mehin Mirzabalaeva and Yasaman Habibova will try to achieve success.
The tournaments are held in different age categories (U-11, U-13, U-15 and U-17) and are of great importance for young athletes to strengthen their position in the world ranking.
