Azerbaijani table tennis players confidently performed at the Eurasia League competition held in Aktobe, Kazakhstan. According to Sport24.az, the team consisting of Adil Ahmadzadeh, Rustam Hajili, and Onur Guluzade, who participated in the competition under the leadership of Ramil Jafarov, the head coach of the youth national team, won 5 out of 6 matches in the first round.
The Azerbaijani team, which lost only one game, took second place in the competition table based on the overall results. The next round of the Eurasia League will be held on May 28-31.
It should be reminded that previously a women's team debuted in an analogous competition. The team consisting of Aylin Asgarova, Zemfira Mikayilova, Laman Abdulhamidova, and Marziyya Nurmatova, who won 7 out of 8 games, also took second place based on the results of the first round.
