The Azerbaijan Table Tennis Championship for U-19 and U-15 age groups was held at the "Shua" sports complex. Sport24.az reports that the winners were determined in team, doubles, mixed doubles and individual competitions at the competition, which started on April 30.
According to the results, the Sumgayit-1 team won the team tournament for girls under 19. In the boys' competition, the Baku-1 team was awarded the main prize.
In the U-15 age category, Sumgayit-1 won the girls' competition, and the Shabran team won the boys' competition.
In the doubles competition for girls in the U19 age group, Marziyya Nurmatova and Aylin Asgarova took the first place.
In the boys' tournament, the Adil Ahmadzadeh-Rustam Hajili tandem surpassed all their rivals.
In the mixed doubles competition, Adil Ahmadzadeh and Nigar Mahmudova took first place.
In the individual competitions, Marziyya Nurmatova and Adil Ahmadzadeh climbed to the highest step of the podium.
In the U15 age category, the Yağmur Mammadli - Khadija Eylazova and Onur Guluzade - Aliakbar Mirzaliyev duets emerged victorious from the doubles competitions.
Onur Guluzade and Yağmur Mammadli won the mixed doubles tournament.
Yağmur Mammadli and Onur Guluzade also won the individual competitions.
The distinguished athletes were presented with diplomas and medals from the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan, and awards from the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation.
