English Premier League team West Ham has announced that they have reached an agreement with Graham Potter for the head coach position.
The Graham Potter era has begun at West Ham after parting ways with Julen Lopetegui.
Lent.az, citing foreign media, reports that the London team announced that a 2.5-year contract has been signed with Potter.
"Graham Potter was unanimously chosen by the board to move the club forward in line with its ambitions," the club's website said.
Graham Potter said he was happy to sign with West Ham and that the talks went positively.
Potter said: "I'm happy to be here. What was important to me was waiting for an offer that I thought was right and finding a suitable club. That's the feeling I have at West Ham. The president and the board share the same ideas about how we want to move the team forward."
Graham Potter, who started his coaching career with the Swedish team Östersund, agreed with Swansea City after his success there.
The 49-year-old head coach managed Swansea City for 51 games and debuted in the Premier League with Brighton.
Chelsea paid Graham Potter's release clause and appointed him as the team's head coach for the 2022/23 season. Potter, who played 31 games for Chelsea, left the team that season.
West Ham were unable to recoup their spending in the summer transfer window after parting ways with David Moyes at the end of last season.
The London representative, who signed a contract with Julen Lopetegui as head coach, has 23 points after 20 games.
West Ham, who are in 14th place in the Premier League, have achieved 6 wins, 5 draws and 9 losses in 20 games this season.
