The winners of the third stage of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan cycling race have been determined.
İdman.Biz reports that the cycling tour, which started from Gabala city at 9:20 Baku time, covered a 162.9-kilometer route extending to Mingachevir.
Gleb Suritsa, a Russian member of the Kazakhstan's "Astana" team, crossed the finish line first in Mingachevir.
It should be noted that Yevgeniy Fedorov, a Kazakh member of the "Astana" team, won the second stage of the cycling tour on the Baku-Ismayilli route. The winner of the first stage of the Baku-Sumgayit race was Aleksey Shnirko, a Belarusian member of the Chinese "Li-Ning Star" team.
It is worth recalling that 24 teams representing 20 countries of the world participate in the UCI 2.1 category competition. The prize fund of the five-stage tournament is more than 50,000 euros. The competition will end on May 14. The final stage of the tournament will be held in Khankendi.
