Today, the fourth stage of the "Baku-Khankendi" Azerbaijan cycling race will start.
Idman.Biz reports that in the fourth stage, cyclists will travel 152.8 km along the Ganja - Goygol - Goranboy - Agdere (Sugovushan and Talish villages) - Naftalan route.
It should be noted that the winner of the third stage of the cycling tour in Gabala-Ismayilli was Gleb Suritsa, a Russian member of the Kazakhstan's "XDS Astana" team. The winner of the second stage in Baku-Ismayilli was Yevgeny Fedorov, a cyclist of the Kazakhstan's "XDS Astana" World Tour team. The winner of the first stage of the Baku-Sumgayit race was Alexey Shnirko, a Belarusian member of the Chinese "Li-Ning Star" team.
It is worth mentioning that 24 teams representing 20 countries of the world are participating in the UCI 2.1 category competition of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The prize fund of the five-stage tournament is more than 50 thousand euros. The competition will end on May 14. The final stage of the tournament will be held in Khankendi.
