As part of the exchange program of specialists aimed at cooperation in the field of sports policy between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey, the Azerbaijani delegation visited Sakarya.
Idman.Biz reports that the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan has released information about this.
It was reported that during the visit, the delegation participated in meetings and gatherings held at the Sakarya Region Youth and Sports Directorate, visited the Sakarya Executive Authority and met with the head of the executive branch.
Within the framework of the program, the delegation got acquainted with the conditions created for basketball, boxing, volleyball, judo, taekwondo, wrestling, table tennis and kickboxing in the Sakarya (Adapazarı) "Lütfü Yaman" indoor sports hall. They also visited the Water Sports Center for canoeing and rowing, the Karasu Sports Hall, the "Talent Screening" Center and the "TOHM" wrestling hall.
In addition, the delegation participated in an event organized at the Youth Center, met with the Karasu District Youth and Sports Director, and visited the park created in memory of the Khojaly martyrs.
It should be noted that as part of the trip, an excursion to the "Acarlar Longozu" nature area was also organized.
