Nine-year-old British Frankie McMillan has already conquered over 700 peaks in total and has now completed a series of large-scale hikes focused on the highest mountain peaks in Europe.
Lent.az reports with reference to foreign media that in the last three weeks, the young climber has conquered three main peaks included in the "Crown of Europe" list:
• Gerlach (Slovakia, 2655 m)
• Rysy (Poland, 2501 m)
• Sněžka (Czech Republic, 1603 m)
As part of the latest expedition, Frankie and his mother successfully completed a total of 15 routes, 11 of which were peaks higher than 2000 meters. In particular, the ascent to the Mnih peak (2068 m) in the Tatra Mountains was difficult and required the use of full climbing equipment. However, thanks to his experience gained since the age of 3, the young climber was able to confidently overcome difficult areas.
In addition to his climbing achievements, Frankie McMillan has signed a contract with Athlete Media Group and participates in the UN health protection program. Despite his young age, he has reached the 3rd level in the national rock climbing system, which corresponds to the coach level.
Currently, Frankie and his mother are developing new expedition plans, taking into account seasonal and environmental restrictions in various regions of Europe.
