Today, at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, Azerbaijani athletes will compete in six sports. Sport24.az reports that our representatives will compete in weightlifting, volleyball, table tennis, muay thai, karate, and swimming.
It should be noted that the Islamic Games will end on November 21. Azerbaijan is in 7th place in the medal standings with 29 medals (4 gold, 9 silver, 16 bronze). Turkey is first with 68 medals (43 gold, 24 silver, 11 bronze).
