The second day of the "President's Cup-2025" rowing competition has started.
The second day of the "President's Cup-2025" international rowing regatta dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev has begun.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that in the competitions held at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center located in Mingachevir, teams are testing their strength in kayak, canoe and academic rowing at various distances.
Athletes representing Azerbaijan, Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are competing in the regatta.
Yesterday, at the tournament that started in Sugovushan, Azerbaijani rowers Amil Ramazanov (2007), Alimurad Hajizade (2009) and Mustafa Valizade (2011) were awarded bronze medals in a single kayak.
It should be noted that the regatta will end on May 2.
