Work has begun on returning the medals won by Azerbaijani athletes at the Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games, which were subsequently subjected to inoculation.

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) has contacted "Chaumet" jewelry house, which is the manufacturer of the medals and operates within the LVMH company, regarding the issue.
The company stated that the order has been queued and the process of replacing the inoculated medals is being carried out in stages.
Currently, the turn has come to replace the inoculated medals of Azerbaijani athletes.
In the coming days, the National Olympic Committee will send the medals to France, and they will be replaced with new ones.
First of all, the medals of taekwondo athlete Gashim Magomedov and Greco-Roman wrestling medalist Hasrat Jafarov will be sent.
According to reports, the production time for the new medals will take approximately 3-5 weeks.
