The second day of the "President Cup-2025" rowing competition has started. The second day of the international rowing regatta "President Cup-2025", dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, has started.
Sport24.az reports that in the competitions held at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center located in Mingachevir, teams are testing their strength in kayak, canoe and academic rowing at various distances.
In addition to Azerbaijan, athletes representing Estonia, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Serbia, South Africa, Spain, Tajikistan, Turkey, Ukraine and Uzbekistan are competing in the regatta.
In the tournament that started yesterday in Sugovushan, Azerbaijani rowers Amil Ramazanov (2007), Alimurad Hajizade (2009) and Mustafa Valizade (2011) were awarded bronze medals in a single kayak boat.
It should be noted that the regatta will end on May 2.
