Olympic bobsleigh champion Lisa Buckwitz has announced that she is managing an account on the OnlyFans platform to finance her preparations for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
İdman.Biz reports that the athlete openly justified her decision, stating that she does not see it as something unusual and that it is difficult to ensure a high-level training process without additional financial support.
"This is sponsorship support for me. It allows me to continue my service in the armed forces and pursue my sport in parallel. There's nothing abnormal about it," Buckwitz said.
It should be noted that OnlyFans is an online paid content platform where users access creators' shared materials on a monthly subscription basis. Although the platform features content on various topics, it is more known for 18+ content, and some athletes use it as financial support and a sponsorship alternative.
