Azerbaijani karate fighter Irina Zaretska (68 kg) has become the winner of the VI Islamic Solidarity Games held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. Sport24.az reports that the athlete won a gold medal in the 68 kg weight category.
Irina Zaretska defeated Eda Eltemur (Turkey) 5:3 in the final.
It should be noted that Nuran Rzazade, representing Azerbaijan in the 67 kg weight category, lost to Abdul Vakhob Rashidov (Uzbekistan) in the 1/16 finals.
