The next competitions within the framework of the III CIS Games organized in Azerbaijan will be held today.
According to the employee of "Report" sent to Shaki, the final matches of the team competition among table tennis players consisting of boys and girls, as well as the 1/4 final and semi-final matches of the individual competition will be held at the Gabala Olympic Complex.
Also today, the first matches of the group stage will be held among football players under 16 years old. The Azerbaijani national team, which is in group A, will face Tajikistan. Russia and Belarus will face each other in group B.
It should be noted that the competitions will be organized in 12 venues for 23 sports (archery, badminton, 3x3 basketball, boxing, canoe, chovgan, fencing, U-16 football, Greco-Roman wrestling, judo, karate, rhythmic gymnastics, rowing, sambo, shooting, stand shooting, swimming, table tennis, taekwondo, trampoline gymnastics, volleyball, women's wrestler, freestyle wrestling).
The III CIS Games will be organized in seven cities of Azerbaijan - Ganja, Yevlakh, Mingachevir, Gabala, Shaki, Goygol and Khankendi. The opening ceremony will take place on September 28, and the closing ceremony will take place on October 8 at the Ganja city stadium.
