Sabah basketball club has added American player Franky Fidler to its roster.
Sport.Biz reports that the press service of the Azerbaijani representative has released information about this.
A one-year contract has been signed with the 23-year-old basketball player.
Fidler, who is 201 cm tall, started his NCAA career with the „Omaha Mavericks“ team. Over three seasons, Frenki became one of the team's main leaders, averaging 20.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 2.6 assists per game in the 2023/24 season, earning him a spot on the First Team All-Summit.
Later, he played for „Michigan State Spartans“ in the „Big Ten“ conference, one of the strongest in the NCAA.
In 2025, Fidler transitioned to professional basketball and spent his first season in Europe with „Rīgas Zeļļi“.
