An official agreement has been signed between the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Baku City Ring, and SportAccord.
According to "Report", the ceremony was attended by the Minister of Youth and Sports Farid Gayibov, Vice-President of the National Olympic Committee (NOC) Chingiz Huseynzade, Secretary General of the NOC Azer Aliyev, President of SportAccord Ugur Erdener, and officials from various federations.
According to the agreement, Baku will host the SportAccord World Sport & Business Summit in 2026 (May 24-28).
During the event, Baku's presentation as the host city for the 2026 event was also announced.
