The first day of the "President's Cup-2025" regatta dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev has come to an end.
Idman.biz reports with reference to AZERTAC that kayak-canoe competitions were held at a distance of 200 meters in the first stage organized in the Sugovushan reservoir.
Azerbaijani representatives Amil Ramazanov, Alimurad Hajizade and Mustafa Valizade were awarded bronze medals in a single kayak.
After the competitions, the awarding ceremony of the winners took place. The winners were awarded medals.
It should be noted that more than 200 athletes from more than 20 countries are participating in the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta. The competition, which started today in Sugovushan, will continue on May 1-2 at the Mingachevir "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center.
