A "Report" employee dispatched to Mingachevir reports that Azerbaijani rower Alimurad Hajizade said this in a statement to journalists at the "President's Cup-2025" international regatta.
The athlete, who won a gold medal in the 1000-meter kayak event, said he was happy with the victory:
"It was a very intense and competitive regatta. We continued our fight with composure. I gave my best. I had already faced my opponents several times. My performance this time was better compared to last year."
