The first day of the Azerbaijan Rowing Championship, jointly organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Canoe and Rowing Federation, has come to an end.
On the first day of the tournament, rowers competed for 16 sets of medals in academic, kayak, and canoe disciplines.
Sport24.az reports that, in addition to being awarded diplomas and medals, outstanding rowers will compete in the CIS Games to be held in our country in September and October.
It should be reminded that rowing competitions at the CIS Games will be held at the "Kur" Olympic Training and Sports Center. The Azerbaijan Championship is also a preparation and test event for the CIS Games.
