Idman.Biz reports that Ushangi Kokauri, competing in the weight category over 100 kilograms, has attracted attention with consecutive victories. He defeated first the Iranian and then the Romanian representative with ippon, adding his name to the list of the strongest quartet.
Jamal Gamzatkhanov, another judoka in the same weight category, was also insurmountable for his opponents. He defeated Montenegrin Jovan Pekovic with ippon in his first match. Gamzatkhanov, who also won the next match with complete superiority, became our second semi-finalist.
