Results of the II round of the judo tournament "Talent Selection" among U-16 adolescents

The second round of the judo tournament "Talent Selection" among U-16 adolescents has ended.

"Report" informs that 118 judokas joined the fight on the last day of the tournament held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex.

Girls competed in the weight categories of 44 kg, 52 kg, 63 kg, +70 kg, and boys in 55 kg, 66 kg, 81 kg and +90 kg.

It should be noted that 221 athletes, including 270 boys and 49 girls from 67 clubs and sports societies, participated in the second round.

The purpose of holding the "Talent Selection" competition is to form a healthy lower base of the national team, identify promising athletes nominated for the national team, and form a sustainable reserve base. Athletes who are in the first 4 places in each weight category in the final ranking of the 2nd round will be involved in the "Hopes of the Future" training program.
