Azerbaijani young judokas finished the second day of the European Championship held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia, without medals.
"Report" reports that 7 members of the national team who took to the tatami today could not take a place on the podium.
Ali Humbatov (66 kg), Aykhan Hasanli, Said Sharifov (both 73 kg), Aysun Mammadova, Nurana Hajizadeh (52 kg), Samaya Yusifli (57 kg) and Ayan Aliyeva (63 kg) lost to their opponents in the preliminary stages.
It should be noted that Azerbaijani judokas won 6 medals at the European Championship yesterday. Anar Guliyev (50 kg), Rasul Alizadeh (55 kg), Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) won gold, Narmin Agamirzazade (48 kg) silver, and Gulshan Huseynova (44 kg) and Leyla Alakbarova (48 kg) won bronze medals.
