International training sessions organized by the European Judo Union have started in Baku.
Idman.biz reports that the first seminar held at the Absheron Olympic Sports Complex was led by the famous Serbian specialist Aleksandar Kukoly.
The technical session was attended by national team coaches Slavko Tekic, Kotaro Sasaki, as well as local judo experts Orkhan Safarov, Asiman Allahverdiyev, and Rafig Najafov. More than 400 young judokas from 14 countries have joined the three-day training sessions.
It should be noted that our country will host the European Judo Hopes Tournament starting tomorrow.
