16 Azerbaijani junior female judokas will compete at the Thuringia Cup, which will be held on March 21 in Bad Blankenburg, Germany.
The Azerbaijan Judo Federation informed "Report" about this.
Athletes will compete in 8 weight categories. In the U-18 age category, Sunay Salamova, Zahra Guliyeva (both 40 kg), Nigar Heydarzade, Parvin Sevkhanli, Fatima Abdullayeva (all 44 kg), Konul Eyvazli (48 kg), Tovsiya Babayeva (52 kg), Gulnaz Mammadtagiyeva, Sama Valizade, Yagmur Ahmadzade (all 57 kg), Nazakat Valiyeva, Turkan Mammadli, Zilan Huseynli (63 kg), Rana Ahmadova, Masuma Mammadli (both 73 kg), Zemfira Aliyeva (+70 kg) will compete.
The athletes will be led by Elnur Ismayilov, the head coach of the national junior girls' team, and coach Amrah Ahmadov at the tournament.
