Azerbaijani judokas won 2 gold and 1 bronze medal at the Grand Prix tournament held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
"Report" reports that Hidayat Heydarov (73 kg) won a gold medal by defeating Czech representative Husniddin Karimova in the final.
Vusal Galandarzade (81 kg) also achieved the same success. He climbed to the highest step of the podium by defeating Eetu Ihanamaki (Finland) in the decisive match of the tournament.
Rashid Mammadaliyev (73) won a bronze medal by defeating Canadian Justin Lemire in the match for third place.
It should be noted that Balabay Agayev (60 kg) and Ruslan Pashayev (66 kg) from our judokas previously won the Mexican tournament. Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) won a bronze award.
