Our judoka defeated German representative Nikolas Kuntse and advanced to the 1/8 finals.
Our other representative, Balabey Agayev, faced Italian Andrea Carlino. B. Agayev, who defeated his opponent with complete superiority, became one of the first Azerbaijani judokas to qualify for the 1/4 finals.
It should be noted that the European Championship will end on April 19.
