In the second match, he defeated Canadian judoka Justin Lemire. In the semi-final, Heydarov was stronger than Venezuelan Andres Priçe.
His opponent in the final will be Czech Husniddin Karimova.
Rashid Mammadaliyev, another judoka competing in the same weight category, defeated Ulises Mendes of Mexico in his first match.
In the next stage, his opponent was Martin Hochak of Slovakia. This match also ended in favor of our representative.
In the semi-final, Mammadaliyev faced Husniddin Karimova, who represents the Czech Republic. The match ended with the Czech's victory.
