Our judokas are involved in intensive training twice a day at the Guba Olympic Sports Complex.
Idman.biz reports that the first part of the training is devoted to physical preparation, and the second stage is devoted to technical and tactical exercises on the tatami.
The training camp is led by performance director and head coach of the team Richard Trautman, senior coaches Elkhan Mammadov and Robert Kravchik, as well as senior physical training coach Hasrat Mahammadov.
The training camp is preparatory in nature for the VI Islamic Solidarity Games and other upcoming international competitions.
The next part of the national training will continue in Baku. After that, our judokas will participate in an international training camp to be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil from September 6–19.
It should be noted that the last training of our team was watched by the participants of the international summer camp held in Guba with the joint organization of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the Azerbaijan Sports Academy.
