The Azerbaijani national team added another medal to its tally in the judo competitions of the XVIII European Youth Summer Olympic Festival (EYOF), held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.
"Report" reports that Muhammad Agakishiyev, competing in the 73 kg weight category, won a bronze medal by defeating Aleksandr Aleinikov (Belarus Olympic Committee) in the match for third place with a golden score.
It should be noted that earlier at EYOF-2025, our judokas Gulshan Huseynova (-44 kg), Rza Khalili (-50 kg), Rasul Alizade (-55 kg) won gold, Nurana Hajizade (-48 kg), Zeyd Alasgarov (-60 kg) won silver, and Aysun Mammadova (-52 kg) won bronze.
With 3 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze medals, the Azerbaijani national team maintains its lead in the overall team standings.
