Azerbaijan national team has taken the lead in the overall standings at the European Judo Championship among cadets held in Skopje, the capital of North Macedonia.

Anar Guliyev (50 kg), Rasul Alizade (55 kg), and Zeyd Alasgarov (60 kg) became champions, Narmin Agamirzazade (48 kg) won silver, and Gulshan Huseynova (44 kg) and Leyla Alakbarova (48 kg) won bronze medals.
Turkey (1-2-0) is second in the overall standings, and athletes competing under the flag of the International Judo Federation complete the top three (1-0-3).
