The Azerbaijan Judo Federation (AJF) has presented its competition and event calendar for April. According to Sport24.az, the calendar includes important competitions and training camps for various age groups, both domestically and internationally, throughout the month.
Today and tomorrow, an official belt grading examination will be held in Ganja. This will be followed by the European Cup among cadets on April 4-5, and an international training camp for cadets in the same city from April 6-8.
On April 13-14, a judo techniques exam will be held in Baku for the U-14 and U-17 age groups. On April 14, the ACF Cup in ne-waza among U-20 juniors will be organized.
The first round of the U-17 cadet league competition will take place in Baku from April 15-17. In parallel, the European Championship among adults will be held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, from April 16-19.
The second round of the U-14 cadet league competition will be held in Baku on April 18-19. Towards the end of the month, regional and international events will become even more intense.
On April 25, the next official belt grading examination will be held in Nakhchivan. The European Cup among cadets will take place in Berlin, Germany on April 25-26. On April 26, regional championships for the U-14 and U-17 age groups will be organized in Nakhchivan.
An international training camp for cadets will be held again in Berlin from April 27-29. A belt examination will be held in Agjabadi on April 29, and regional championships among U-14 and U-17 cadets from the Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur regions will take place on April 30.
Thus, April will be very rich and dynamic for Azerbaijani judo in terms of both domestic development and increasing international experience.
