Azerbaijani judoka Ahmad Yusifov (60 kg) has won the "Grand Slam" tournament for the first time in his career.
Idman.Biz reports that the athlete achieved this at the competition held in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
He defeated another Azerbaijani judoka, Balabey Agayev, in the final.
Earlier, Nizami Imranov, Turan Bayramov (both 66 kg), Konul Aliyeva, Shafa Hamdova (both 48 kg), and Leyla Aliyeva (52 kg) stopped the fight.
It should be noted that the "Grand Slam" will end on March 1.
