US Chargé d'Affaires in Azerbaijan Amy Karlon watched the spectacular performances of the world's most talented young gymnasts at the Trampoline Gymnastics and Tumbling World Cup held in Baku. The US Embassy in Azerbaijan reported this, Sport24.az reports.
"On behalf of the Embassy, we sincerely congratulate all participants, including the six athletes from Azerbaijan and the three medalists from the US team! In particular, we were especially pleased that the entire podium in the men's individual tumbling competition consisted of athletes from Azerbaijan and the USA (pictured). Like Azerbaijan, the United States is proud to host international sporting events, including gymnastics competitions. On March 7, Las Vegas, Nevada will host the American Cup in rhythmic gymnastics. This competition will be held for the first time in a mixed team (men and women) format and will be a test for the first mixed team gymnastics competition to be held at the Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028," the statement said.
