The XXXIV Qosanov Memorial in athletics has started in Almaty, Kazakhstan.
Idman.biz reports that more than 150 athletes representing 15 countries are participating in the bronze-level competition of the World Athletics Continental Tour.
Nazim Babayev, one of our athletes who joined the competition on the first day, was remembered with a successful performance. The indicator of our athlete competing in the long jump was 7.48 meters. With this indicator, Babayev took 3rd place in the international tournament. Note that Nazim will also compete in the triple jump tomorrow.
