The results in the World Cup series were successful for Azerbaijani acrobatic gymnasts.
Idman.biz reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani gymnast Murad Rafiyev in his statement to "Report".
He said that he expected to succeed before the competition: "The results at the last World Cup were successful for us. We finished the competition with a silver medal. This was our last such competition in the current season. The results of all world cups held during the season were summarized and we became the winners of the series with 96 points. Based on our preparations before the competition, we expected to win a gold or silver medal and become the overall winner of the series. In the end, that's what happened".
Rafiyev informed about the next plans: "The World Games, which are held every four years, are waiting for us ahead. We are preparing very seriously for this competition to return to our country with a medal".
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani men's acrobatic gymnastics pair (Murad Rafiyev - Daniel Abbasov) became the winner of the World Cup series by showing high results in the stages held in Purs, Burgas, Baku and Jesuv by the International Gymnastics Federation.
