For the first time in Baku, an international training camp on trampoline gymnastics of European Gymnastics was held.
"Report" informs that athletes, coaches and international experts from Italy, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Sweden, along with our representatives, participated in the training camp held on the initiative of European Gymnastics and organized by the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
The main goal of the training held at the National Gymnastics Arena is to increase the technical and physical training level of the participating gymnasts, as well as to strengthen their preparation for international competitions. Tumbling and double mini-trampoline exercises were also held at the training camp. Babetta van Vetering, president of the European Gymnastics Trampoline Gymnastics Technical Committee, vice-president Luis Nunes and representatives of other countries Samuel Castro, Anette Dalsten, Sergio Lucas and Adil Huseynzade acted as experts at the training camp.
In addition to the sports-oriented part, an interesting cultural program was also organized at the training camp. The guests went on excursions to the sights of Baku, reflecting its history and modernity.
