The main goal of Azerbaijani acrobatic gymnasts in the World Cup series was to take one of the top two places. Sport24.az reports that this was stated by Azerbaijani acrobatic gymnast Daniel Abbasov in his statement to Report.
He said that they finished the competition with a successful result: "Our goal at the World Cup was to take one of the top two places, and we worked hard for it. We finished the last competition with a silver medal. It is considered a successful result for us. Even before the competition, we were working with all our strength to present our performance at the highest level. The result made both us and our team very happy."
Abbasov believes that they will also show good results in the upcoming World Games: "We are preparing for the World Games to be held in August. I believe that we will show good results in that competition as well."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani men's pair in acrobatic gymnastics (Murad Rafiyev - Daniel Abbasov) became the winner of the World Cup series by showing high results in the stages held in Purs, Burgas, Baku and Ješuv by the International Gymnastics Federation.
