Azerbaijani women fencers have competed in the European Championship held in Genoa, Italy.
"Report" informs that the national team, consisting of Sabina Karimova, Palina Kaspiarovich, and Zarifa Huseynova, competing in the team sabre competition, lost to the German national team with a score of 43:45 in the match for reaching the top eight.
In the matches for 9-16 places, the national team lost to the Greek team with a score of 42:45. In the match for 11th place, our team defeated the British sabre fencers with a score of 45:31.
