The Azerbaijani team finished 13th in group exercises at the Junior Rhythmic Gymnastics World Championship held in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria. According to Sport24.az, in the all-around, the team consisting of Nazrin Abdullayeva, Roya Alikishiyeva, Ayan Nasirrova, Shams Muveffegi, and Nazrin Salmanli performed with five hoops and five pairs of clubs.
In the sum of two events, they scored 42.300 points and took 13th place, ahead of their rivals from 22 countries. Our gymnasts were unable to reach the finals in individual events.
The final day of the World Championship will be held today. Two of our gymnasts will participate in the final: Fidan Gurbanli will compete with clubs, and Azade Atakishiyeva with hoops.
