Idman.biz reports that the winners of the women's team sabre competition were determined today.
Our team, consisting of Sabina Karimova, Palina Kaspiarovich, and Zarifa Huseynova, faced the German national team in the 1/16 finals. Our fencers, who lost with a score of 43:45, fought for 9th-16th places. Our team, which initially lost to the Greek team with a score of 42:45, defeated the British sabre fencers with a score of 45:31.
As a result, our national team finished the European Championship in 11th place.
