Yevgeni Kuksevich: We will benefit from the game with Georgia in the future

The Azerbaijan national futsal team will benefit from the friendly match with Georgia in the future.

Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by the head coach of our national team, Yevgeni Kuksevich, in his statement to the press service of the Azerbaijan Futsal Federation after the match.

The expert assessed the team's defeat: "We played against a good opponent. The Georgian national team played in the final stage of the European Championship a few months ago. We fought better against a strong opponent than we expected. If we could have converted the 2 real chances we created from the beginning into goals during the match, the events would have continued differently, and the mood would have been good. Instead, we conceded 2 goals from individual mistakes. Despite this, we did not give up the game. We had chances again. If we could have used those opportunities, the score would have been in our favor. Unfortunately, we "limped" in terms of realization. Overall, this meeting was very necessary for us. We will see the benefits of this in the future."

The head coach stated that they gave young players a chance during the match: "Today we gave several young futsal players a chance to play. Maybe they were on the field for a short time, but they experienced the excitement of the national team game and felt the atmosphere."

It should be noted that the Georgia-Azerbaijan game ended with a 4:2 victory for the opposing team.
