The Azerbaijan national futsal team, which is in training camp in Baku, will play four friendly matches next month.
Idman.Biz was informed about the purpose of these meetings and the preparation process by the head coach of the national futsal team Yevgeni Kuksevich.
"April is the month when friendly matches are held in the international calendar, and we decided to make the most of this time. In a short period of time, in just six days, the team will play four games: on April 9 and 11 we will play against the Georgian national team in Tbilisi, and on April 13 and 15 we will face the Kazakhstan national team in Aktau.
These games will be one of the stages of preparation for the World Championship qualifying round, which will start in October. Currently, 18 futsal players are participating in the training camp, 15 of whom will play in away matches. These meetings are important for the coaching staff to determine the basis of the team and to compile a list of players who will be called up for the official qualifying tournament," said Kuksevich.
