New futsal players have been invited to the Azerbaijani national team.
Idman.Biz reports that this was stated by the head coach of the team, Yevgeni Kuksevic, in his statement to the press service of the Futsal Federation.
The head coach noted that the team is expecting 4 difficult matches in April:
"Taking this into account, we considered it necessary to hold a short training camp. There are aspects of the game plan that we need to work on. At the same time, we have several new futsal players in our squad. We want to test them in order to determine the final squad for the April games."
Y. Kuksevic emphasized that the players take the preparation process seriously:
"The children are in good spirits, they eagerly fulfill the tasks. We are trying to make the most of the time between championship games. We need to learn well now so that our work is easy in official games."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team will hold friendly matches with Georgia in Tbilisi on April 9 and 11, and with the Kazakhstan team in Aktau on April 13 and 15. The training camp in Baku will last until March 26.
