The head coach of the Azerbaijan national futsal team, Yevgeni Kuksevich, was satisfied with the game against "Araz-Nakhchivan".
Idman.Biz reports that he said this in a statement to the press service of the Futsal Federation.
The head coach stated that they are working on some details:
"We had very little time. We were only able to hold a 3-day training camp. During this time, we had two trainings and one test match. We tried to work on certain details - defending, reducing the distance between players, passing with the foot, etc. There were elements we wanted to improve, and we devoted time to them. As for the test match, the national team played well in the first half. They fought, tried to carry out the given tasks. I was satisfied with the team for the game they showed. In the second half, they ran out of energy a bit. We also gave more chances to young players. Although the result was not good, I can say that the training camp and the game were beneficial for us. Because we worked on the details that are needed for the future."
The head coach emphasized that the staff is large:
"There were those who were not with us in this training camp for certain reasons. Nurlan Mammadov was injured, and Tofig Aliyev will also join us in the next training camp. Our staff is large and we will make a selection."
It should be noted that the Azerbaijani national team lost to the Nakhchivan representative with a score of 2:6 in the test match held today.
