The vast majority of "Formula 1" fans have justified Max Verstappen's continuous criticism of the new technical regulations.
Idman.Biz reports that the four-time world champion called the new rules anti-racing and a "Formula-E on steroids."
Continuing his criticism after the Australian Grand Prix, Verstappen made harsh statements after retiring from the Chinese Grand Prix due to a malfunction in the Red Bull car. He said that those who enjoy this race do not understand the real fight.
Current world champion Lando Norris, New Zealand driver Liam Lawson of the "Racing Bulls" team and Williams driver Carlos Sainz also expressed their dissatisfaction with the rules, but none of them reacted as harshly as the Dutch driver.
In a survey conducted by RacingNews365, 78.26 percent of respondents thought Verstappen was right and was just sharing his opinion. 21.74 percent of respondents said he should stop criticizing and focus on the development and reliability of the car.
Next weekend, the drivers will compete in the Japanese Grand Prix.
