The International Automobile Federation (FIA) has lifted the curfew rules that were scheduled to be implemented on Wednesday and Thursday before the opening stage of the Australian Grand Prix "Formula 1" to be held in Melbourne, Australia.
Idman.Biz reports with reference to the "RaceFans" publication that race director Ruy Marques stated that this decision was made due to flight interruptions and delays in the delivery of cargo. In particular, the "Ferrari" and "Racing Bulls" teams faced serious logistical problems due to increased tensions in the Middle East.
The official announcement states that due to emergencies and interruptions in the preparation process, the relevant rules will not be applied in this race.
It should be noted that the curfew is usually applied to control costs by limiting the working hours of 60 operations and 16 training personnel. The curfew between the second and third practice sessions on Saturday is still in effect.
